The Father's Day guarantee. If your finished hardcover is not in your hands before Father's Day, Sunday 6 September 2026, we refund your full $199 — no questions asked, no forms to fill in — and you still receive the book when it's finished.
When you can get a full refund
- Change of mind before the first interview — any reason, full refund.
- Your storyteller doesn't take to it — if after the first call they genuinely aren't enjoying it, tell us and we refund you in full.
- We miss Father's Day — full refund under the guarantee above, and the book still arrives when finished.
- Illness or bereavement — if your storyteller becomes unable to continue, you choose between a full refund or a shorter book made from the conversations already recorded, at no extra charge.
How refunds are paid
Back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, within a few business days of you asking. Just email us — you don't need to give a reason for any of the situations above, and there are no forms.
Delivery
- Shipping is free anywhere in Australia.
- Your book is printed and bound in Australia and delivered before Father's Day, Sunday 6 September 2026.
- We'll email you when it ships. If it arrives damaged, email a photo and we'll print and send a replacement at our cost.
Australian Consumer Law
Everything above is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you're entitled to the remedies the law provides regardless of what's written here.
